A postman in a blue uniform holds a telegram in his hand as he leaves the door of Santa's Workshop. Enlarged in the bottom left is reads: "I am busy making Toys / for good Girls and Boys / As for a(?) Perfect night. I'll have / Arrived at your house Christmas Eve / Santa Claus." In the back left, Santa Claus is sitting on a stool while making a doll.
