Description

Two men are standing on either side of a small machine. The machine has a flat, slightly tilted work surface. Rollers with screening wound around them are above the work surface. Flexible rods and wires are visible on a work table behind the men. Scraps of wire and screening are on the floor under the work table. A third man is standing behind the work table. Additional screening is visible on a bench in the front of the image. Inserted into the floor at the rear of the work space are vertical metal tubes with cone-shaped tops. The number “39” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. No number is written in the upper left corner.
