Description
The tailor is standing behind a cutting table on which are pattern pieces, rulers and yardsticks. A lamp hangs over the table. On the other side of the narrow room are cloth patterns and partially sewn dresses hanging on a clothes rack. Two women are seated at a table behind the tailor. Various scissors, wooden spools of thread, pins and other sewing items are visible on the table. Two sewing machines are on a table behind the women. Another man may be seen standing at the rear of the room. The number “72” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “4” is written in the upper left corner.
