An elderly man holding an insurance policy sits at a small roll top desk in an office in the B & I Building. On top of the desk is a box with the label, “Old Age Deferred.” Pinned to the door of the office is a two page magazine spread of photographs with the caption, “Seen by the Drygoodsman’s Camera.” There are three wall calendars in the room, two open to May, 1912, and the third open to May, 1911. The number “72” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. No number is written in the upper left corner.
