Description

Four women and five men are at work in the bottling room of the Dubuque Brewing & Malting Company. The women in the foreground are inverting the filled, glass bottles on an angled work surface before placing them in wooden cases, each of which holds twenty-four bottles. No number has been written on the emulsion side of the negative in the upper right corner of the picture. The number "5" is written in the upper left corner.
