Description
Four large boilers are visible along one side of a narrow room at the Dubuque Brewing and Malting Company. Three men are standing near the boilers. One man in the foreground of the photograph is holding a coal shovel. A coal-receiving door on the boiler nearest this man is open. The side wall of a coal bin is visible near the men. No number has been written on the emulsion side of the negative in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “2” has been written in the upper left corner.
