Description

A family is seated in the sitting room of an unidentified boarding house. A young boy is standing next to his father and a baby girl is seated on her mother’s lap. Visible on the music rack of an upright piano are three pieces of sheet music, including one depicting the sinking of the Titanic titled “Just as the Ship Went Down.” An adjustable, round piano stool is visible under the piano keyboard, and various knickknacks may be seen on the top of the piano. No number has been written on the emulsion side of the negative in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “3” has been written in the upper left corner.
