Description

A man, dressed in dark shirt, dirty coveralls and a cap, is posing beside a machine at the rear of a room with a tall ceiling and light brick walls. A deer head with antlers is mounted on the wall. The room seems dark, although bright sunlight is streaming in through a tall window and un-seen skylight. Work tables may be seen beneath the window. Other equipment is in the center of the room, and a circular grinder or saw, and an anvil are visible on the right side of the room. No number has been written on the emulsion side of the negativein the upper right corner of the picture. The number “3” has been written in the upper left corner.
