Description

This photograph was taken from an elevated position, and looks down into an office area occupied by two men and two women. On the left side of the office, a woman appears to be consulting documents in a tall cabinet. The other workers are seated at individual desks in the center of the space. Tall cabinets with drawers or cubby-holes filled with papers surround the perimenter of the room. Several clipboards, also filled with papers, are hanging near the cabinets. Three windows covered with roller shades are visible over the cabinets. A day calendar open to “6” is hanging on the end of one of the desks. The number “259” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “1” has been written in the upper left corner.
