This photograph of the retail shop of the Hasel Cheese Company shows a sparsely furnished space containing a long table and counter visible along the right side of the space. A cash register, scale, and three round glass plates full of cheese and covered with glass covers, may be seen on the counter. An enclosed glass display case has been placed at the end of the counter. Two men are standing on either side of the counter. A map of the United States and two small signs, one of which reads “ NOTICE...” have been attached the wall behind the counter. A tall metal stove is partially visible on the opposite side of the room. The number “318” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “1” has been written in the upper left corner.
