Dublin Core

Title

All Saints (Rowley, Iowa)

Description

"All Saint Parish, Rowley, was established by Father William Leen after he became a pastor of Walker in 1894. After the Rowley Catholics built the church in 1896 at his direction, Father Leen continued to care for the Walker parish and three missions: Rowley to the north, Spencer’s Grove to the southwest, and Sunny Side about ten miles west of Rowley. When Father Leen moved to the Farley parish in 1912, Father Augustine J. Walsh served the All Saints and Walker congregations into 1913."
