Father Christmas is the main figure on the card. He is standing on a house's snow-covered outside staircase wearing a green robe and brown satchel, carrying a stick and bag of toys in his right hand. His left hand rests on the staircase railing. He is looking to the right side of the card, where through a window behind him is a red-haired child in a blue outfit inside the house. On the stair below Father Christmas's feet "Merry Christmas" is printed.
